Looking back at the market performance of gold yesterday, it showed an overall trend of bottoming out and rising. After the price found support at 3998, it broke through 4026 in the evening and officially turned bullish. After rising, it fell back 29 times and started to rise. It once reached the 4082 line during the session, and closed with a small positive line with a long lower shadow.
From the perspective of the daily chart, yesterday gold closed with a small positive line with a lower shadow line. This K-line shape contains a wealth of market information. The existence of the lower shadow line indicates that in the game between the long and short sides, the bulls have the upper hand, pushing the price to rebound higher. Analyzing from a trend perspective, the current short pattern of the gold market has not changed.
Extending the timeline to last week, we can see that the gold price had a rebound, from 4244 to 4210 on Friday. However, this rebound encountered strong suppression at the upper line and failed to form an effective breakthrough, which further confirmed the market's bearish trend. Looking at the short-term moving average system, we can see that the short-term moving average has been gluing downward for a second time. This moving average shape usually means that the short-term average cost of the market is constantly moving downwards, and the power of short positions is gradually increasing. At the same time, the auxiliary indicator MACD also showed a second opening downward.
