XM Metals: On April 22, xmtraders.comEX gold surged to $3509.9, and then fell for two consecutive days, with the lowest point below $3300. On the same day, London gold surged to $3499.96, just one step away from the 3500 mark. In the following two days, London gold fell sharply, breaking through $3,300 at the lowest point. From an absolute value perspective, the gold price of US$3,500 per ounce is already at an extremely high level, and offline gold stores are in trouble, and the real industry does not support the logic of further rising gold prices. In addition, gold's rise in April was too rapid, and a large amount of short-term funds may have been accumulated. If the short-term pullback trend does not end soon, it may trigger collective selling of profitable shares, and $3,500 may become the medium- and long-term top.

Trump's radical policies are still the core factor that determines the rise and fall of gold. This week, Trump's attitude towards the Fed Chairman eased, and there were signs of relaxation in export policies to other countries, so the U.S. stock market ushered in a rebound window period, and gold fell only due to the decline in risk aversion sentiment. Starting from February, affected by Trump's radical policies, gold entered a unilateral upward trend. In the medium and long term, before a new central structure is formed, the judgment on gold bullish trend remains unchanged. From the perspective of moving average, starting from April 14, the three moving averages of MA5MA10MA20 showed a bullish arrangement. Gold fell sharply on Tuesday and March this year, but did not destroy the order of long arrangement, and the bullish trend is expected to continue. The lowest price for the pullback is supported at the red MA10. Before the market price effectively falls below the MA20, it is not recommended to have bearish ideas too early. Although macro-level analysis tends to be the mid-term top for US$3,500, technical indicators have not yet given a confirmation signal, and we still need to patiently observe the future market development.
